4 Steps to Workers’ Comp Massage Therapy
Step 1: Notify your supervisor within 90 days of a work-related accident and complete the necessary paperwork.
Step 2: See your doctor for an exam and inform them your injury occurred on the job. Request a prescription for massage therapy if deemed beneficial.
Step 3: Contact your claims adjuster to inform them you are pursuing treatment.
Step 4: Provide us with your Claim/Case Number, Date of Accident, and Claims Adjuster’s Name and Phone Number.
Before treatment, we require prior authorization from your claims adjuster and a doctor’s prescription or work order. Some insurance carriers have contracted providers, while others allow you to choose. Contact us to verify eligibility for treatment at RAP Manual Therapy.
