Medical Massage

Medical Massage

Medical Massage is a specialized form of soft tissue manipulation (Manual Therapy) that is outcome-based rather than focusing on general relaxation. Typically, it is part of a comprehensive care plan, where your Primary Care Physician, Chiropractor, or Doctor of Physical Therapy may refer you to address symptoms from car accidents, work-related injuries, or chronic pain conditions.

Unlike Wellness Care or Relaxation-oriented massage treatments, which often cover the whole body, Medical Massage targets specific areas where symptoms are present, along with related areas, aiming to provide symptom relief and help shorten recovery time. If you have a prescription for Massage Therapy, you will receive this type of Massage. However, Medical Massage sessions can also be scheduled out-of-pocket. Inform your practitioner of your needs, and we will gladly accommodate you.

We strive to make Medical Massage accessible to all. We offer insurance-covered services to clients and patients with prescriptions from Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVA), Workers’ Compensation Claims, and BCBS – Blue Cross Blue Shield members.
